About us

The school was established on the 31st of July 2013 by Avtk. Annada Jyotirekha Acarya, with the help of a Margii brother Viirendra jii, from Mansi, Bihar. Brother Virrendra jii had two houses – 1 in Begusarai and one in Mansi. His house in Mansi was empty since his family was staying in Begusarai. Avtk. Ananda Ragini Acarya was posted in Mansi and Avtk. Ananda Jyotirekha was RSL Ranchi region. It was RSL’s duty to visit the didis field and help workers open and establish ongoing projects. Didi Ananda Jyotirekha went to Mansi to help Didi Ragini open the school. Didis made door-to-door contact, and she also put advertisements in the newspaper. There were only six students at the first opening, but by the end of November 2013, the school had tremendous progress with 55 children.

Margii Brother Viirendrajii, seeing Didi’s fantastic work, was very inspired and decided to donate 4500 sq. feet of land to wwd for a social service project.

Didi´s hard work continued to inspire local people, and by the end of 2014, the school had 155 students. It didn´t stop there; at the end of 2016, the school had 200 children. That is the maximum capacity. The school always has a long waiting list, but Didi cannot accommodate all the waiting lists due to limited building capacity.

In 2016 Viirendr jii gave his land to wwd to open another school. Now, the land is legally registered under the name of WWDO

The school´s philosophy is Neohumanism, by Shrii P.R. Sarkar. He is also a founder of Ananda Marga Pracarak Samgha.

Didi Ananda Jyotirekha is the school’s managing director and principal. The new land donated by Margii brother (Viirendra jii) is not far from the current building. A four-story building is planned to accomodate many kids, so the many will be benefitted from this service.

The ground floor will be used as the children´s indoor playground, the first and second floors will be used as classrooms, and the third floor will be used for different activities. The fourth floor will be used as an Ashram for the Didis and an orphanage.
