Ananda Marga projects aim to provide service to those in need or to important causes.
- The services can be physical help (shudrocita seva), as nursing and relief work.
- It can also be in the form of defending or protecting living beings (ksatriocita seva), including in the fight for rights and justice.
- There is also service aimed at helping others develop materially (vaeshyocita seva): providing food, clothing, medicine etc.
- And finally, intellectual and spiritual service, when knowledge and techniques are shared that will contribute to the intellectual and spiritual development of others.
